Terms & Health Disclaimer
Welcome to Unfold. By accessing this website, booking a session, or participating in any guided breathwork, somatic practice, or workplace wellness offering, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and health disclaimers.
1. Somatic & Breathwork Practice
The sessions, workshops, private circles, and content offered by Unfold are designed for self-exploration, relaxation, nervous system regulation, and personal growth.
Breathwork and somatic practices are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, psychotherapy, or medical treatment. Unfold does not act as a licensed medical practitioner, psychiatrist, or clinical therapist.
2. Health & Medical Precautions
Conscious connected breathwork and active somatic practices can induce significant physiological and emotional responses. It is your responsibility to monitor your physical and emotional state during and after sessions.
Certain health conditions require dynamic adjustments or written medical clearance prior to engaging in active breathwork. If you have any of the following conditions, please inform your facilitator prior to your session:
Cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, or history of stroke/aneurysm
Epilepsy or history of seizures
Severe mental health conditions (such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or active psychosis)
Recent major surgery, physical injury, or acute medical condition
Pregnancy (modifications will be provided)
Glaucoma or detached retina
Use of heavy prescription medications that alter nervous system function
By booking a session or joining a group circle, you confirm that you are physically and mentally fit to participate, or that you have consulted a qualified healthcare provider who has cleared you to do so.
3. Personal Responsibility & Consent
Participation in all sessions—whether online, in-person 1:1, or group circles—is completely voluntary. You are in full control of your practice at all times and may pause, slow down, or stop your breathwork at any point. You assume full responsibility for your health, physical wellbeing, and emotional integration during and following any session.
4. Confidentiality & Space Integrity
All personal experiences, stories, and insights shared within private sessions and intimate group circles are strictly confidential. We ask that all participants honor the privacy and sacred space of fellow breathers.
5. Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund Policy
We hold dedicated space and time for each individual and group session. To ensure smooth scheduling for everyone, the following policies apply:
1:1 Sessions & Private Bookings:
Cancellations or Rescheduling: Requests made at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled start time are eligible for a full refund or session transfer.
Late Cancellations & No-Shows: Cancellations made within less than 24 hours of the scheduled session, as well as non-attendance without prior notice, are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
Group Circles & Special Workshops:
Due to limited seating and spatial preparation, bookings for group circles or workshops are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your spot to a friend with advance notice.
Late Arrivals:
To honor the flow and sanctuary of the space, sessions begin promptly. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in a shortened or canceled session without a refund.
Facilitator Cancellations:
If Unfold needs to cancel or reschedule a session due to unforeseen circumstances or emergencies, you will receive the option to reschedule or obtain a 100% full refund.
